Hm
Catherine Zeta-Jones was the only good thing about that terrible movie. At least Clooney 'n the boys redeemed themselves with Ocean's 13. Anyway, a good example of movie eye contact is in "3:10 to Yuma". Russell Crowe plays some bandit in this western remake and his eye contact with the women and his captors is pretty good.
Thanks for mentioning the bit about taken women (lol) and the eye contact. Something I had not considered. About the creepiness factor: I will go as far to say that not only is the guy mentally disengaged from her, but it's just rude. Seeing a person as an object or a life-support system for a certain object (:O) does not show any type of respect for them. Impersonal objectification sucks for men or women.
These are just some things I've been thinking about and experiencing recently.
JeansJoe has really provided a great deal of perspective into these issues. It's helped me personally, as I interact with many many women daily and sell them things ;) You guys are right, it's a lot easier talking with people in general when you start developing these mindsets. Great finish.
